Wishing every reader a very happy new year 2017. This wish has a very wide and deep significance. Friends, I’m sure you’ll agree with me that our ultimate goal in life is to be happy. However, this does not really come from activities like partying, shopping, holidaying etc. which are momentary pleasures at best.
Happiness is a long term commitment we need to make to ourselves. Cultivating the habit of enjoying simple pleasures like a casual morning stroll, watching children play, watching a bird flying past or simply enjoying the evening sun set and even engaging in creative pursuits can pave way for reduction of stress and make us feel more healthy. In fact, research has found a strong link between positive emotions and health.
Happy people are consistently found to be more successful in various facets of their life- marriage, career, friendship, earning, physical and mental health.
